My name is Elias Bachner, and I am a 5"6' 118 pound outside/opposite hitter with a little experience as a libero, but I am more than happy to play any position. I am a freshman at Watkinson school in Hartford Connecticut' and start for Husky volleyball 16-2's in Windsor. Last season I started on the 16-3's team and we did very well considering none of us were sixteen. We participated in all four NERVA tournaments and won NERVA IV. Before I found Husky volleyball I trained with Elevation Volleyball Academy for a year and continue to play beach with them in the summer. Some of the things that I can bring to a team are: leadership, hard work, a positive attitude on the court no matter the situation, and passion and dedication to the team, and the game of volleyball. I am pretty open to different kinds of colleges although I would prefer to go to school in the city or the suburbs over the country, and I am not willing to attend a religious school. I don't know what I want to pursue in college, but I am interested in engineering/architecture, and english. My goal in college volleyball is to go to a competitive college where the play is intense in games and in practices, and my dream is to play for the U.S. national team. On another note in my academics I hold my self to a high standard, and if I have anything below an A or B I will immediately put my mind to improving in that class and seek out help from my teachers and my peers.
