Personal Statement
My name is Giancarlo Rodriguez. This last season I played as a Libero playing for Ocean Bay Volleyball Club 16 Waves in Orlando, Florida. and received the All American Team award at USAV Nationals. I am Class 2023, attending Hagerty High School in Oviedo, Florida. I have made the Varsity Team both on my Freshman and Sophomore years and was currently selected to the SAC All Conference - 2nd Team. Currently, I play with the 352 Elite Volleyball Club 17 Lime Tony. My hard work and dedication to this sport has really helped my achieve one of my goals which was to be selected to this team, this club is considered the top club in Florida and I'm very proud of making the top 17's team. Prior to this for Season 2018-2020, I played for Winter Park Volleyball Club and won the AAU National Championships for 2019 and 2020.
I do community service at a Local Girls Volleyball Club. I assist a 13 year old team and help them train in the court. Also have become the Hagerty High School Team Manager for the Varsity Girls Volleyball Team.
Volleyball has been a big part of my life, since I was born. My sister has been playing volleyball for 14 years. I’m a team player, dedicated and hardworking Student - Athlete who is looking to play at the highest level of Volleyball.
