Personal Statement

The moment I stepped on the court, I knew that playing volleyball was something I wanted to be involved in for the rest of my life. I want to play in college so much, and I want to win a national championship with my college team more than anything else.

I feel that I would be a great recruit for any team because I am loud and energetic. Whenever someone on my team scores I get extremely loud and make sure that whoever scores knows that they did a good job. I feel that whenever people get loud and excited like I do, the whole team plays better. I also feel that I would be a great recruit because I am athletic on the volleyball court, especially in the areas of defense and serving. I am a quick learner and I will do whatever a coach wants me to do in order to improve myself, or my team. I have a high volleyball iQ, and I can read/see the court very well. I do my best to cover the holes that I have on my team, and expose the holes on the opposing, and capitalize on the holes that the other team has. I feel that colleges would also want me because of my grades. I strive to maintain good grades and I am taking some college classes.

I definitely feel that I should be recruited because of my goals, my dedication, my character and attitude, my grades, and athletic abilities. https://www.facebook.com/david.deford.35 is my Facebook page where I will be posting about upcoming volleyball events that I will be involved in. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCO27Ln3px1pmBlMOqSbUgxw is a link to my YouTube page where I will be posting games and footage of me playing.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
