John Zolpe '18 Recruiting Profile

My goal and aspiration in life is to give 100% effort in being the best volleyball player on the court and best student/person off the court. What drives me to become better is my tenacity and my behavior. I try my best to outwork everyone on the court and I do not give my other teammates attitude. I am honest to my coaches and do not make excuses for my mistakes. What makes me different is how deep inside I really want to achieve my maximum potential. I have talked to many kids who dream about playing college sports and working their hardest so that dream can become true. They work had for the first few weeks, then start to give up and not care. I will never give up on a dream or goal. I set my mind on a grade in class or goal I can achieve and I go beyond what others think I can do and work my hardest so that grade or goal was worth my effort.
