Volleyball has been the key cornerstone of my life.  I began to play in the 5th grade, on a simple church team. And that team changed my life. I knew that volleyball had a value that I could not find anywhere else. Being an extremely social person, the interactions of teamwork and friendly competition that engulfs the volleyball community is something that I thrive on.  However, I went through rough times with volleyball as well, when my team was at its lowest point and had a devastating record my freshman year, I knew I had to do better. I knew that I needed to work my absolute hardest, every day, of every week, to become the best player and teammate that I could be and an asset that will bring up the team.

That is what I look for in college volleyball as well. I want to be a member of a team, not an individual who is solely looking after himself; but instill the ability to bring up the players around me, and myself to become the best help I can be. I feel I would be a good fit for a college that sets its goal high, and stops at absolutely nothing to attain it- because in my eyes, greatness is earned, not awarded.
