Personal Statement
I have always been a person who shoots for the stars when they dream and doesn't back down from the challenge of achieving those dreams, and I'm hoping to find a college that matches my competitive spirit. When I was in elementary school, I decided that I would be a doctor when I grow up, and ever since I have came to that decision, I have not backed down from achieving that dream. Throughout middle and high school, I have taken upper level classes, when available, and excelled in them; even getting awards for academic excellence. I plan on bringing this highly competitive spirit with me to a competitive college, where I plan on double majoring in Psychology and Biological Chemistry while obtaining a minor in Spanish. When I finish my undergraduate work, I plan on attending a competitive medical school, after which I will specialize in pediatric surgery.
