Personal Statement
Last season, Parkway South Boys Volleyball posted the best record ever. I couldn't believe how far we came as a team and as men during that season. I, however, made my biggest stride the season before when we barely had a .500 record and faced the most adversity I had ever experienced. After that season, I learned more about myself as a player and a person and inspired me to become a better player and leader for my team and for my future in volleyball.
Fortunately, we bounced back in a major way and with a good core group of leaders, we became the best team to ever play at Parkway South. I learned that it is not how hard you get knocked down but it is how fast you get up. I have learned the value of grit, discipline, commitment, and leadership over my years of playing volleyball. At the college level, I am looking for both a strong volleyball program with a great culture and a challenging academic atmosphere. I believe I not only have all the tools to compete at the college level, but also great leadership and character to make an immediate impact in your program. As a 3-year varsity starter and captain of my national travel club volleyball team last year, I know what it takes to be the next key piece and leader of your program!
