Jared Sommer '19 Recruiting Profile

I have always been a hard worker and that didn't stop when I decided to play volleyball my sophomore year of high school.  I fell in love with the sport.  I play club, school, and beach volleyball.  I played my sophomore year as a right side for my school team and then went out to play club.  I got on a regional team during our normal club season but I got moved up to a national team to play in the summer.  We got to go to Phoenix for nationals and I had a lot of fun.  This is where I really found my passion for passing and defense.  It is now my senior year of high school and I play as a libero for Advancement Academy on a national team.  I have many goals but one of them is to play volleyball in college.  I am a hard worker, I am coachable, and I am a fast learner.  Most of all I am a leader.  Volleyball brought this characteristic out of me, when things might not be going good for my team I am always there to pick them up.
