Personal Statement
I fell in love with volleyball the first time that I stepped on the court. Volleyball has really given me the opportunity to showcase my athletic abilities and also develop mental focus. My biggest achievement to date has been the opportunity to be the Team Manager for the CD East Girls' Volleyball team for their 2019 and 2020 seasons. During this time, I was able to help coach, run the score table, learn strategy, and how the rules of the game are implemented. This has given me an understanding of the game that many other players do not have.
I am a dedicated, strong and supportive player and teammate. I am very coachable and strive to be the hardest working player for my high school & club teams. I listen to instructions and pride myself in not having to be asked twice by fixing or correcting right away. I maintain a positive attitude towards my coaches, teammates, and myself. I am a very competitive person, and want to do my best at all times. I am a player that likes to be pushed, and work as hard as I can. I should be utilized as a utility-type player, using my strengths to contribute in as many positions on the court as I physically can.
