Brandon McGowan '17 Recruiting Profile

Hi I'm Brandon McGowan. I am from Pittsburgh, PA and attend Penn Trafford High School. I am currently a sophomore in high school with a 3.4/4 GPA. I've been playing volleyball since I was in 5th grade and then started playing competitively in 7th grade on the PVC (Pittsburgh Volleyball Club) 14's team and have played there ever since and I'm now on the 16-Black Team. Some achievements include, getting 2nd place at the USAV BJNC in 2013 in the 14-Club Divison, offered a spot on the A1 USA High Performance Future Select Team in 2013, played at the Olympic Training Center on the A1 team, starting varsity as a freshman, winning the Rochester Can Am USA Bid Tournament in 2014, and winning many local or out of state tournaments with my team. My GPA has ranged from a 3.3-3.6/4 through my first two of high school and I currently take multiple honors classes, and plan on taking both honors and ap my junior and senior years. I like to enjoy myself and my team when I am on and off the court, and I like two have a lot of energy as well.
