A collegiate goal of mine would be to play volleyball for Men's Varsity Volleyball team. I would bring an energetic and uplifting attitude to the team. This separates me from other recruits because I stay upbeat and playing, which helps to keep the team up and playing. I am, also, a team player, talking to everyone. I am personable and will talk to anyone about volleyball. This helps the team, but also myself. I get feedback from other players and coaches, which helps me learn to become a better player. For athletics, I bring my height, my ability, and my knowledge of the game. I know I am not the number one athlete, but everyday I bring my hard work and a good attitude to better myself toward getting stronger and more athletic. I have been around volleyball for a majority of my life from my older sisters playing the sport, so I learned how to play from them. They, also, taught me the mental state of the game, which is a major part including: where to place a ball, how to draw blockers, the different plays to off set the other teams defense. As for academics, I am disciplined to keep my grades up, which goes over into my playing. I keep my self disciplined, so I can become the best player I can be. I am a good, different candidate because I have a large knowledge of the game and can stay upbeat, which allows me to help the team win.
