I was a member of the class of 2018, studying at the Academia Ponce Interamericana in Ponce, Puerto Rico were I studied hard and up to now have maintained a academic honor status.
I transferred and started my Junior year (2016-2017) at a new school in Ponce, Puerto Rico. The school is Colegio Sagrado Corazón. My parents and I made this decision seeking for a highly rated High School in Puerto Rico, in terms of Volleyball. Sagrado is ranked in the top ten schools in Puerto Rico. Also, it has high standards in education. Both things will make me a better athlete and a better student and are the two main distinctions that I was looking for. Now I am a member of the class of 2018 in Sagrado Corazón. I am a member of the National Honor Society and the Student Council. I was the Captain of my Varsity team in my Senior year. Named Conference finals MVP and All Conference player.
I feel very passionate and enjoy playing volleyball, compared to other sports that I have participated (basketball and track). I am respectful and a very coachable player that takes seriously my training and improvement of skills. I practice 3-4 times a week and go to the gym two times a week. I keep myself clean in respect to anything that can affect my health and eat very nutritiously.
I am a well-rounded player able to play every position, but my primary position is middle hitter. I also like playing, and I am good, at the position of opposite and outside hitter. I want to use my skills and abilities in volleyball to find a scholarship and attend college. I am trying to find a school that is a great fit for me and can help me get what I want for my future. This will require a lot of effort but I am willing to accept the challenge because it will secure my future that at this time is a health related career. I am interested in Biology and Pre-med while attending college.
In summary I know that I have to work hard and be fully committed academically and athletically to find the best college possible in the field of study that I am looking for and to play at the highest level possible.
