Eduardo Quiñones '29 Recruiting Profile

I love volleyball, which is a big part of my life, and I'm thrilled and proud to be a starter on both my school's youth volleyball team and my club team with GVA (Guaynabo Volleyball Academy). My passion for the game has taught me the value of teamwork, dedication, and self-control, all of which I carry with me into my academics. It's an honor to be a volleyball player and achieve many great techniques and even mental performance. Volleyball has taught me how to self-control my mental weakness fight through it and defeat the bigger problems. 

Currently, my best achievement winning the 2023 Youth "Buzzer Beater" National Championship in Puerto Rico, and since then I had a strong goal to study at a good college, where I can not only advance and continue my academic journey but also continue playing volleyball at a good competitive level. Combining my academic and athletic pursuits will help me grow as a student, athlete, and person. I am passionate about my work and my amazing team spirit to give it my everything in College. I'm excited to bring my skills, dedication, and good team spirit to a college community and make a positive impact both on and off the court. 

Also as a student-athlete from Academia del Perpetuo Socorro in Miramar, Puerto Rico, I strive to embody the values instilled in me by my family and my school. My father has always been my role model, teaching me the importance of discipline, resilience, and leadership both on and off the court. Equally, my grandmothers have shown me the strength of humility, compassion, and perseverance, values that are central to my identity as an athlete and person.
