Stephen Dufour '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Stephen Dufour. I am a libero who can also play defensive specialist when needed. I excel in serve receive and left/middle back defense. I play for my South County Juniors team this past winter with the 17-1s team. We played in many tournaments across the region. We will be at the junior national tournament competing in the 17 open division. My team and I played in 18 open for the smaller tournaments along with some large tournaments. My goal is to grow as a volleyball player and compete at the highest level I can. I come from a small town in Rhode Island, and attend North Kingstown Senior High School. The North Kingstown boys volleyball team has been one of the top competitors in the state in recent years winning the division 1 state championship in 2022. I have maintained a 3.4 GPA throughout my high school career and will be taking AP courses my Senior year. I am willing to compete at the division 1, division 2, or division 3 level. What makes me different from other candidates is that I not only play indoor volleyball, I also play outdoor in a grass league, and play in tournaments with my teammates. I also have in season and off season workouts that I stick to in order to make me the best player I can be.
