Personal Statement

Hello! My name is Kai Hood and I have been playing volleyball ever since I was 3!!! I joined a team that my mother coached when I turned 9 and started playing club in California when I had turned 10. Every Year since then I have played beach and indoor club volleyball as well as high school indoor volleyball. I have been captain of a majority of the volleyball teams I have played for. I strive to be a servant leader and create a positive influence on and off the court. I am currently a senior in High School and I play for Excel Volleyball Club in Dallas Texas. I am a 6’1 setter looking to play at a highly competitive level as well as studying business, finance, and networking in college. I am currently the founder and president of the Leadership and Self Development Club at my high school. I am also holding a 3.9/4 - 4.7/5 GPA.
