Personal Statement
Volleyball has been a huge tradition in my family since my father was a little kid, playing at our family cabin in the canyon. College athletes and the hard work that comes with it has been a great theme in my family, and I wish to be the next college athlete in my family. I have been playing competitive volleyball since I was 10 years old, and it has become my favorite sport, beating basketball, baseball, football, and golf. Playing different sports has given me different skills like teamwork, the drive to never stop, and a strong mental game.
Academics is definitely something that came from my mom's side of the family, and I believe that I have more than impressed my mother. Academics is something that has always come first in my life, and I don't think that will ever change. I can't wait to become a college student and exceed my mother's expectations on the college level too.
I believe that I would be a good addition to any team, and I will never stop pushing to help my team win.
