Personal Statement

I have played Volleyball since i was 12, and I've wanted to play as much as possible, hoping to one day make a college team.  To do this, i strive to become the best i can at every position that i play.

I have a strong, and accurate jump float, and topspin jump serve.  I also have a high knowledge of the game, knowing how to set people in every situation, and often being able to get kills in out of system situations.  I work hard in everything i do, and I'm willing to be coached and change things about my game to get better.  I strive to be one of the hardest working players that you meet, and one of the hardest working recruits you meet with.

I average a 3.6GPA and i am an honors student, while also taking some AP classes.  I am well known throughout my school, and considered one of the most brilliant kids at the school.  Alongside these, i am also the Girls Volleyball and Boys basketball photographer.  I hope to attend a college that i can find both a great volleyball program to play for, and where i can challenge myself in all aspects.  I am open to all options for college, and i am willing to walk on to a team at a high level if necessary.

In all honesty my biggest asset during games is the opponent underestimating me because of my height.  Many of my opponents do not expect me to spike a ball at about 10', and i will often get 8-10 kills in a game because my opponents do not take me as an attacking threat and target the middle and outside hitters.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
