My name is Kamran Lim-Hanna and I am a 5’11’’ 176 lb. wing/utility player at Troy High School. I have participated in 3 years of high school water polo as a varsity starter(and varsity captain in 2021), as well as 6 seasons of club water polo. This sport has been a big part of my life since the age of 9, and I am eager to continue playing for a varsity team in college while pursuing a degree in Environmental Science.
My ability to replicate a coach's exact directions and implement it into my own play style makes me a versatile player who can perform from many positions in the pool. Combined with my experience in the sport, the simple skill of listening and learning has shaped me into a well-rounded, intelligent player. The same strengths carry into my academic life. I am a very diligent worker and am eager to thrive academically in order to succeed in the future.
My ultimate goal is to play for a college with good academics, specifically a strong environmental science program. In my journey through the sport of water polo and environmentalism, I hope to make a profound and lasting positive impact on the world.
