Personal Statement
I am a student of the game. I came to the sport at 16 and Under and fell in love. I love to be coached and learn all that my coaches have to offer me. I would consider myself a very knowledgeable player who can see and develop plays to get the ball exactly where needed. I am not afraid to shoot the ball, however, I was the leading scorer on my club team this past summer, making a point to distribute the ball. I love to play defense and always match myself up with the best player on the opposing team in high-pressure situations. I am a leader that can keep his team in games where the skill gap is apparent. My club team this summer had a majority of underdeveloped players, we should not have been competing with some of the teams we were playing but I made sure my team knew that we will play with an intensity and passion that could not be matched. This was a large reason why we took 10th at this last JO's in the Gold Division. I played almost every minute during JO's and was able to because of my work ethic. I love to be in shape so that I can play every minute of every game. I never miss practice and always come ready to work. I was two-year captain of my high school team largely due to those two facts.
