Personal Statement

Please note that I am a Californian Resident.

I began my water polo career in the Serbian Partizan, after which I've moved to California at the age of 14. After playing in California for 2 years in Vanguard and SoCal, I moved back to Serbia and I am now playing as a starter for Singidunum, both in the Men's League and the U17 league. We are ranked 4th in the U17 league.

I am right handed and I play on the left side, which are positions 1 and 2 (US system), mainly 1. I also oftentimes play as the second centre. My main strengths are:

Explosiveness and reactiveness, which help me do counter attacks. I swim 100m free for 56.5 seconds.

Ability to draw exclusions from all positions - I usually end up as the person who has drawn the most exclusions in my team. I draw exclusions from transition, driving and the centre (2M) as well.

My defence. I have been trained by the Partizan school.

I also have good grades, averaging 3.8/4.
