Personal Statement
I love to be challegened academically and physically. My passion is to help others in 3rd world countries and locally whether it’s in the Philippines or it’s just feeding the home less in Orange County. My goal is to use a college degree to be able to make a positive impact on people who are in unfortunate circumstances. I push my self to be a better person in the pool and in my communities. If I’m passionate I will succeed. I started playing water polo my sophomore year sitting on the bench. I wasn’t thinking “Coach put me in or Coach I only played for 12 minutes. I sat and I watched what I needed to work on in practice. Fast forward I’m fighting for a starting spot on varsity. I am pasionate and I will succeed with patience, determination, and focus.
