My water polo career began at age 11 as a field player for SET water polo club, but I always had a desire to play in goal. In my first year of 14Us, I had the opportunity to play half and half (goal and field) and really enjoyed being a goalie. My second year of 14Us I decided to focus solely on playing in goal. Currently, I play both high school and club water polo as well as participate on my high school swim team. ETHS made it to 2nd Round CIF for Fall 2020 and in Spring 2019, I was JV league champion for the 100 backstroke. Additionally, I am a swim instructor for SET rec swim classes.
I am a hardworking, focused student who has achieved academic success in my Honors and AP level classes. I learned valuable leadership skills through my participation in Boy Scouts and through the completion of my Eagle rank. Additionally, I am a competitive team player who enjoys every aspect of the game as well as bonding with my teammates. These qualities make me a well-rounded candidate that can excel both academically and athletically. I would like to continue to pursue my passion for water polo while working towards a higher education degree. I am open to all types of schools, including Division 1, 2, or 3 universities and am willing to relocate out of state if the school and program are a good fit. I am looking forward to visiting campuses and meeting coaches during the selection process.
