Charles Cole '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Charlie Cole and I am a successful waterman and lifesaver.  I graduated from Cathedral Catholic High School in 2020.  I am 6'1 and 170 pounds.  I played Center, Center Defender and Utility.  I am fast and a very stronger defender.

This past year I have taken a gap year and attending EMT certification classes while lifeguarding full time at the beach and participating in Masters Swim Programs, surfing and conditioning. 

In 2018 and 2019  I went to CIF for both High School Varsity Water Polo and 2018 for Varsity Swimming.  In 2018, Cathedral won Regional Championship Award for San Diego Open Division.  I have played on both Development and Cadet Olympic Development Teams with USA Water Polo.   In 2018 I placed 12th and 14th respectfully on 200 and 400 free relays at CIF State Championship.

I have been playing year-round water polo with Del Mar Water Polo Club since I was 7 years old. I have played on 10U, 12U A/B, 14 A/B and 16 A/B and now on the 18U A team.  have attended and placed in many Junior Olympics Tournaments.  I am currently coaching with Del Mar Water Polo club while training.

I am often complimented on my physical strength, natural athleticism, positive personality, encouraging disposition with and endless endurance.  I get along with everyone and enjoy meeting new people and travel.
