When it comes to water polo, what drives me is a sense of unfinished business. We almost won the league championships last year, falling just short in the semi-finals for the Central Coast Section. Taking this team to the next level and living up to our potential is what I am all about. As co-captain my role is to be a leader in the water and make good decisions. In the heat of battle, what matters most is that I make sure the team is sticking to what we do best: good ball distribution on offense and relentless defense at the other end of the pool.
As a team, our goal is to go all the way and be league champions. As one of the team leaders my goal is to bring out the best in my teammates by inspiring them to play better every single game. This year is the biggest challenge of my athletic career and I'm excited to see how it plays out. Either way, water polo is helping me achieve my potential and that's why I want to play at the collegiate level.
