Canyon Johnson '25 Recruiting Profile

Over my 10 years of experience in sports, I’ve developed many goals and

aspirations for my future. Among these goals is finding a career that best suits me

and what I want to pursue. I strive to build my skills to ultimately play water polo

at the collegiate level for the best teams, against the best competition. I am a

determined and hardworking athlete, who loves to cheer on his team and thrive in

the team environment. In addition to a positive attitude I bring an eager mindset to

develop my skills through the sport of waterpolo and as a person. It is hard to stand

out from others that dominate this sport but I think what really sets me apart is my

ability to focus and bring the best out of my teammates to pursue a common goal.

My leadership is a skill I have developed from an early age to now and I feel the

growth has helped me athletically and academically to find a balance between

taking over and helping others grow.
