Personal Statement
I am a hard working player and student, that never gives up, regardless of the score or the work load. I am a team sport, that is always there for my team. I have a very good sense of right and wrong, and have yet to come anywhere near mixing with the wrong crowd, or breaking any rules really. I have a great character that I feel can benifit mosts teams, and I greatly attribute this to my culture and upbringing, as I am originally from South Africa, and only moved to this lovely country in 2014. However, this being said, I have a green card and will be an official citizen before I start college, as my mother is from Michigan. I feel that I bring a good understanding and knowledge of the game to whatever team I'm on, as I've been playing from the age of 10, and have represented my state in South Africa, and have had the privilege of being coached by national coaches, as well as attending Princeton's Water Polo Camp. I started off as a swimmer and fell in love with water polo, so I am 150% committed to the game, as it is my passion and I love playing it. I was captain of my varsity high school team my freshman year, and also made second team all conference as a freshman, even with the fact that my team had to forfeit districts due to not enough players, as many failed to show up. So I think or would like to hope that I could be a great asset to whatever team I'm put on
