I have played sports my entire life and being an athlete is an important part of my identity. I love to compete and thrive on the discipline and challenges in sports. I started playing water polo 3 years ago. I fell in love with the sport and have improved exponentially. I want to work hard, continue to develop as a player and be a contributing member of a team. I value team success over individual recognition. I am a leader in both my high school and club teams.
I am accustomed to working hard in and out of the pool. I am currently in the pool 5 – 6 days/week and weight training 3 days/week. I carry a substantial academic load by taking advanced, dual credit and AP courses.

- Owen earned a spot on the Olympic Development Program 2021 - 2022 SWZ West Region Championship team and earned a spot on the SWZ National Team as an alternate. He has participated in the following tournaments: ODP West Region Champs (Salt Lake City, UT)
- 2021 Longhorn Aquatics (Longhorn Orange)
- Owen earned a spot on the Olympic Development Program 2020 - 2021 SWZ West Region Championship team. He competed in the ODP tournament in San Antonio in May 2021, Junior Olympic Qualifiers in Houston in June 2021 and in the Junior Olympics in Dallas in July 2021. Other tournaments this year include: Welcome to Texas Shootout (September 2021), Dallas Fall Invite (November 2021).

- Schedule was limited from March 2020 - October 2020 due to COVID. Participated in tournaments such as: Cowtown Rodeo; Central Texas Festival; Cowtown Stampede. Participated in local club game days on weekends when there were no tournaments.
