Flyn Hughes '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Flyn Hughes.  From the moment I started playing sports, I knew I always wanted to keep playing and never stop. This love of sports and competition has led me to play many sports such as track, cross country, swim, lacrosse, baseball, and football. I am always the hardest worker - not only on the field and in the pool but in the weight room and the classroom. 

I started playing waterpolo as a freshman because it combined two of my favorite things - water and physicality. I play as a wing position and I am the primary sprinter for my team because I have been a competitive club swimmer my whole life. As a freshman, I played at the varsity level in crucial playoff games in which I scored two goals in one of the games and won important  swim offs that led to goals. Along with this my freshman year I was on the varsity swim team and made it all the way to the regional finals. As a sophomore I was a full time varsity starter and developed into a great defender against our states top teams. I started playing club polo my junior year and it has really improved my ball handling and shooting abilities. 

I know my hard work, dedication and skills will greatly benefit me in college, and if given the opportunity I will work my tail off to contribute to the team and the college community. I look forward to finding a school that will allow me to not only grow as a player but also as a person and a man for others.
