The highlight of Varsity Water Polo so far has been winning the fall championship in my Junior year, we had just lost some key players because of a team split and were going into the season thinking that we weren't going to do great. Despite that we pushed through as a team, made it back to finals and beat the team that had beat us earlier in the season by a wide margin. That experience taught me to trust team members more, and how to better direct players in the field, as I had to step up to a position of leadership.
I have been on my the Olympus Varsity team since I was in 8th grade and played half of all of our games in the goal. In 9th grade I was the starter and have been ever since. From that and my 4 past years of ODP I have learned how to adjust to the game, and improve on my mistakes. I have also learned how to adapt to different coaches and coaching styles with how they want defense to be played or how they want me to play.
