I grew up in New Jersey, where my passion for sports, baseball in particular, began to grow. From an early age I was always playing some type of sport, it didn’t matter the season. Once High School came I began focusing on baseball, but also swam in the winter to stay conditioned. Although swimming was never a main focus of mine, it was a great experience and I genuinely enjoyed my time in the water. After high school, I attended a junior college in New Jersey where I was fortunate enough to continue playing baseball. From there I transferred to Temple University, where I was able to receive a great education, as well as enjoy the amazing city of Philadelphia.
The most rewarding aspect of working at NCSA is being able to help student athletes in achieving their dream of playing at the collegiate level. I think by helping them achieve this goal, they will realize that any goal they set can be attained as well. Besides being able to help these kids, the work environment is incredible. Every single person has the same amount of energy and passion for what they do, and you can’t help but be motivated by them. Being able to work besides these people is a huge bonus to the job.
Outside of NCSA, I like to keep my life simple. I love spending time with my dog, going golfing, or spending my day on the river fishing. There is nothing better than stepping away from technology for a bit, and taking in all of what nature has to offer.
