2013 North Carolina Commit to Lebanon Valley College

"If it wasn't for NCSA Sports I wouldn't be playing college hockey."

Parent of 2012 Ohio Commit to Calvin College

"Our experience with NCSA has been great.  The ability to have others view [our son's] profile and video gave him many opportunities that he would not have had otherwise.  In addition to committing to play hockey at Calvin College, [our son] was invited to play in the Senior Chowder Cup in Boston, MA.  He was able to play with other college level athletes as well as those in the Junior hockey level.  It was with great pride that I watched him play with, and compete equally with players of that caliber.  The invite was a direct result of the Coach of the Florida Eels viewing [our son's] profile on NCSA.  His confidence was also greatly influenced by the number of coaches viewing his profile and offering him invites to their colleges’ hockey try-outs. The film editing provided by NCSA was invaluable.  I was able to send in several clips of video I had recorded and they were able to put it all together to make a great promotional video for him to use on the NCSA website.  We did not need to pay for professional footage and that saved quite a bit of money. Once thing I would advise others; don’t wait until Senior year of high school to start this process.  Coaches are looking at players much earlier than you would think, as early as 7th grade.  Start taking video as soon as they start playing high school hockey or Juniors if that is the route they take.  Communicate with and visit as many coaches as you can.  It is best to meet and talk with the coaches in person and then continue communication via email. Thanks again for your support.  We are excited to see our son continue his hockey career in college, and it is largely due to NCSA."
