Morgan Love '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Morgan Love I'm a senior at Austin High School in Decatur, AL.  I love playing softball and work hard to be best student in all my classes. I am a dedicated player and team leader. I plan to major in nursing or related fields as I love helping and caring for people especially children.  To describe my softball playing style I would have to say that I'm a hard worker, dedicated, competitive, team leader and coachable disposition, my strengths include having a excellent eye for when the ball leaves the pitchers hand i have led several of my teams with walks and quality at bats, I have a high on base percentage with 4 homeruns from this summer but I'm more of a line drive hitting singles batter with high on base average. Defensively I have mainly played outfield because of my ability to see the ball and cover the field but I have also played 2nd, short and third base.

Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the field, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches and the school I attend.  My dad has always told me and my brother who plays college football that "hard work beats talent,  when talent doesn't work hard".  So that has made us grow up with the hard working work ethic both in the classroom and on the field.
