I aspire to attend college and pursue a career in the medical field. My goal is to play collegiate softball during this time. I believe that I am a good candidate for any team because I am a dedicated, hard working, supportive and positive teammate. Not all players are alike and I feel that it is this uniqueness that can build a well-rounded team. It does take players with exceptional qualities to make a successful team. The qualities in character that someone displays says a lot about that person. I feel that if someone were to ask about my character traits, people would say that I was a person who shows honesty, trustworthiness, dependability, perseverance, leadership and dedication. Having good character and being a positive influence on others is very important to me. In athletics and academics, my goals are no different and these character traits cross into all areas of my life. My athletic career starts with me. I feel that I take every opportunity to make self improvements. I work hard for my team during the season and continue with my own training year round. I take pitching lessons from former University of Alabama pitcher Lauren Sewell and hitting lessons twice a week. Even with all of my training, none of this would matter if academics were not my top priority. I set high expectations for myself in the classroom as well and make sure that my academic performance is the most important.
