Personal Statement
Hello I’m Bristol Bickford and will be a 2024 high school graduate. I consider softball not just a hobby, but a passion. I have the desire to work hard to achieve success. Year to date I have a class ranking of 1-121 and a 4.0 GPA. I may have been born and raised in a small community but I have big dreams to leave my town and set myself apart even more than just my academics. I have been playing softball since junior high and haven’t stopped since. I am left handed, an outfielder, and currently learning the skill of being a slapper. During junior high I played second base. Covid came and cut my last year at junior high short only getting to play a few games during the school season. Then I didn’t get to play my freshman year as I was doing school online so that summer I started playing club ball. I was taught the skills of being an outfielder and have been one since. The club I joined is a new team but has given me many opportunities as we’ve played almost year round other than school season. I have gone to many scrimmages and many many tournaments in the Verde Valley and Phoenix area. I thank you for reading this and would appreciate any feedback, sincerely Bristol Bickford.
