Hello - I'm Mia Mavoides, a 2022 Outfielder from Phoenix, Arizona. I play for AZ Storm - Westover, where I'm the starting center fielder and bat in spots 2-5.
I'm looking for challenges - on the softball field, in the classroom, and in life. I'm focused on attending an acclaimed university, because education is the top priority for me. Getting a degree will help lay the foundation for a successful future.
I'm a natural leader on my club team and on my school team at Arcadia High School where I've started since my Freshman year. Even though softball is the sport I love and chose to dedicate a lot of my energy towards, I enjoy all team sports. Working as a team teaches you a lot about leading others and yourself. Your ego and attitude have a direct effect on the people depending on you most to drive towards common goals.
I really want to continue growing and playing this sport at the next level, and I feel I can be an asset to your program.
