Personal Statement
I have played softball since my freshman year of high school(2015-2016). Even though I have not played the game my whole life, my love for it has grown since the day I grabbed my glove out of the closet freshman year. Ever since I began to enhance my skills I realized that I wanted to play in the collegiate level. I did not want my softball career to ed in high school.
I am a very fast learner and also very hardworking. I do not questions my coaches decisions because I know they know what is best for me. When I am told to jump I ask "How high?". I ensure that the rest of my team is well prepared for the obstacles ahead of us, and if they are not I do my best to get them on the right track.
I have been on Varsity Softball since my freshman year. I played 2nd Base my freshman and sophomore year. Then in junior year I played shortstop the majority of the season and played 3rd Base as well. I am a very well rounded player and can adapt in new situations if needed. I also play basketball and am very involved with school activities. I manage to do extracurricular activities and keep my GPA high. No work is too much.
