Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Kassidy Outlaw and I'm a student athlete at Bradshaw Mountain High School in Prescott Valley, Arizona. I was born in Page, Arizona and raised mostly in southern California while my dad was in the Marines. My dad got me into softball when I was about five years old, throwing wiffle balls at me in the back yard. I started playing fast pitch when I was 8 and it's been my life's passion ever since. I love the game and it has been a major part of my life. It has taught me a lot about myself and the importance of team work.
For the last few years I've played travel and high school ball primarily as a shortstop and lead off batter. I'm also a utility player and am willing to fill whichever spot on the roster that may be required. I make my presence on the field known by staying loud and proud, calling out plays and cheering on my team mates whether they're up or down. My dream is to continue playing softball while pursuing higher education that will ultimately pave the way for my future and career. My interest is earning a degree in Psychology so I can pursue a career in Law. I hope my skills and personality could be a good fit for your school's softball and academic program so that we may help each other to achieve our goals.
