Personal Statement

My name is Melissa Lundberg and I live in Arizona and currently hold a 4.8 GPA at Camille Casteel High School. I would love to attend a college or university where I can study engineering and play softball.  As a player, I believe in hard-work and supporting those around me. I am a leader on both my travel-ball team and school-ball team. I believe in leading by example and by carrying more than my own weight as a teammate. The three words that define my personal philosophy are "courage -character-commitment." I desire to be the difference in my community and world through service, personal integrity and courageous action.  Playing softball at a high level while pursuing my education is a great way to make a difference.
