Personal Statement
I started to play softball at a young age with the help for my mom and older sister I have grown. I was told at the age of 4 I had ADHD I was put on medication and really was not myself. My mom took me off the medication I struggled with school and had out burst. My mom decided to try sports, I have play soccer and basketball but softball was my passion and I got good at it. Play softball has balanced out my ADHD and helped me with my school work I get good grades now and can focus. I believe that softball has changed my life and it is my dream to play in college. I am a hard worker and listen to learn I am a utility player but play 1st and 3rd base mostly. I was given a nick name by my team as truck because of the way I protect third base I am not afraid of being hit or slid into I do what I have to, to make sure I get the out. I will push my self to be the best. I always dreamed of hitting it over the fence and a few days after I turned 14 I finally reached that goal. I realize not every hit needs to go over to be productive. I love this sport and as I get ready to take the next step to high school my goal is to make Varsity my freshman year. I will work hard to try to achieve that goal but if I fall short I will just push myself even harder to be the best.
