Academics come first. This has been my motto to live by since I started sports as a young child. Most athletes want to go to college to play at the next level, and I do want that also. But, first and foremost my college choice must fit me academically. I want to become a doctor in the future, therefore my main goal for school is to set me on the right track for graduate school. I am a very determined individual that has great work ethic. My primary position is catcher, but I am a utility player that can play just about anywhere. I have managed to be a four sport athlete and have maintained my 4.0 throughout my high school career. I am currently number 1 in my class. I am always the unofficial team captain because of my encouragement to all of my teammates and my take charge personality behind the plate. When I am not playing the sports I love, I am studying for school or for the ACT. I have a 30 on my ACT right now, but my goal is to bring it up to a 33. I am a perfectionist; I had one true pass ball in my entire school ball season and I still see that as room for improvement. Most athletes would think of this as a great season, but I am the athlete that can't wait to get back to practicing to see an improvement. My drive to reach perfection is what sets me apart from other athletes. I would love to have the opportunity to continue to play the sport that I love. Thank you for taking the time to look over my profile, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
