Personal Statement
Softball has been my love since I was 8 years old. By 9 years old I decided I wanted to become a pitcher and I pitched all of my 10U years. I practiced for 4 days and played at least 2 days a week. Throughout my years in softball, I have learned how to be mentally strong, sacrifice, and most importantly a good teammate.
During my freshman year of high school, I had the new challenge of juggling softball with academics. I have always been a straight “A” student and I plan on being an honor graduate but I have had to learn how to be a hard worker to keep my A’s and be a starter on the softball team. After High school, I am looking for a college that offers a program that will fit with my academics and softball goals.
