Mariah Bolton '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mariah Bolton.  I will be a 2012 graduate of Hartford High School.  My primary position on my summer softball team is center field but on my high school team my primary position has been third base and backup shortstop and catcher.  My high school coach said he may need me to be the starting catcher this spring.

I love to play different sports but softball has been my love since the age of 3.  In Arkansas they allow us to begin coach pitch softball as long as you turn 4 that same year.  I have had several accomplishments over the years of playing and I want to continue to play the game I love through my college years.  I am a team player and strive to be a leader to my under-classmen.  My high school coach likes to include me in some of the team plays and decision making which I take as a great priviledge. 

I am currently leaning toward a major in education with coaching.  My dream is to be a softball coach.
