I have two passions… science and softball. As a 3.75 GPA honor roll student, my academic goal is to attend college/university for a Bachelor of Science degree in physics/chemistry. My goal is also to earn a scholarship and play at the collegiate/university level. I am open to playing at any level of ball in any region. I have played softball since I was eight years old and I have been playing travel ball for the last 3 years. My travel team is South Surrey Thunder 95A 18U Gold. This fall, September 2012, I will be starting my high school senior year at Yale Secondary where I will be playing on the Varsity Softball Team – Yale Lions. I will be graduating from École Panorama Ridge Secondary in June 2013 with a French/English bi-lingual high school certificate.
My primary position is catcher. I also play 3rd base and short stop. So far this season, my batting average is over .400. During the 2012 regular season league games, I batted .519.
I love the game and I train hard. What I love most about softball is the excitement of the game, the great feeling of accomplishing something together for which we have worked extremely hard and getting to spend time with my teammates with whom we all have so much in common. Softball has made such a positive impact in my life that I want to continue playing for as long as I can. I even want to share my softball passion by becoming a coach one day to be a positive role model for other softball players.
If you have an opening on your softball team which you feel I would fit into, please contact me. I would be very excited to hear from you. My email address is: [email protected]
