My name is Casey Lo and I am a multi-sport athlete playing for the White Rock Renegades U18 Gold as a centerfielder, shortstop, and utility player. I am hardworking and driven at whatever I do and I strive to excel in every aspect of my life. I am a positive, competitive team player and I value feedback from coaches in order to improve for both myself and the team. I believe I have the talent, character and leadership skills to be an asset to your program.
I maintain a 4.0 grade point average and plan on attending a post-secondary institution where I can continue to play competitive softball and earn my degree in environmental or marine sciences. To ensure this, I am taking the most challenging academic courses, including Science Honours and Advanced Placement Sciences. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically.
As well as playing high-level competitive softball, I have also played ringette at the highest level, representing Team BC at Nationals. I thrive in competitive environments like this and have a goal to continue to do so. In addition, I play varsity basketball, volleyball and run cross-country, winning multiple district banners as a team, and winning Junior Athlete of the Year 2020.
Softball is without question my passion, which is why it is my goal to continue playing highly competitive softball at the post-secondary level. One of the things I love most about softball, is that it enables me to challenge myself; however, it is so much more than that. Softball is my community and has given me many opportunities to connect with others, to mentor younger athletes, and it's an important part of who I am.
