Ever since I was eight I knew I wanted to play at the collegiate level. I believe my hard work, academics and heart will allow me to live my life long dream. My love for the game doesn’t stop in between the chalk lines, but continues from the long hours in the classroom, gym and working on my mental game. When I told my dad that I wanted to play in college he installed in me the same work ethic that got him his chance to play football at New Mexico State. I have also seen how hard work, academics and heart got my older sister her opportunity to play golf at Sacramento State. And now I hope to fulfill my dreams. When my softball career is over I want to pursue a career in Sports Psychology working with athletes to improve their game with the power of their mind. I am lucky enough to have found a field of study that makes me want to work as hard in the classroom as I do on the field. I hope to be a part of a team that is family oriented, believes in hard work, and has heart. At the end of the day I continue to reach for greatness because this game is as fun to me now as it was when I was eight years old.
