Personal Statement
I plan to go to college and play softball at a high level of softball while also working hard academically. After being my travel ball team's captain from 2017-2019, I also understand how important it is to bond with my teammates and how to do so from a leadership role. Team work is the most important aspect for playing on a team. Being able to lead them is a skill that I use everyday on and off the field, especially for my position as a catcher. I know how to properly manage myself with experience of balancing being a high academic student and playing travel softball, as well as other sports such as basketball and soccer, for over 9 years. I believe in surrounding myself with people that are compassionate and caring and I work hard to take pride in who I am, physically and mentally, on and off the field.
