Personal Statement
My name is Aryana Munoz, and I play for Corona Angels FTS 16U. I am currently a sophomore at Western Christian High School in Upland, California, and I will graduate in 2026. I am a member of the National Honors Society and want to major in science. As a freshman at Western Christian, I was a Varsity starter and leadoff hitter. My primary position is 3rd base, and my secondary is 1st. I can also be used as a utility player. I continuously work to perfect my swing and effectiveness on the field. Therefore, I attend hitting and fielding lessons weekly with Marty Tyson to help me reach my full potential as an athlete. This past season (fall '22-Summer '23), I was recognized in the Top 100 National Hitting Leaders with a batting average of 0.450 and in the top 10 as a starting third baseman in assisted outs for the class of 2026 by Alliance. I enjoy spending time with my teammates and cheering them on. The memories we create as a team while competing will never be forgotten. My goal as an athlete is to compete at the highest level of college softball and to lead by example. I would also like to pursue a career in the medical field and make a difference in people's lives with God's help. I will work hard every day to make sure that I achieve my goals.
