My name is Ryleigh Peebles, I am a junior at James Irwin Charter High School in Colorado Springs, and I have been playing softball for three years now. Despite not having played for very long, i have made the Varsity team all three years I have played. Though it was not on a whim. I am extremely driven and hardworking and will always be the one to ask questions to better myself. I work at something until I master it, and then I work to keep it at mastery. I am extremely social and thrive when I have a support group behind me. I can talk to almost anyone about anything, and I love to cheer on my teammates and help guide the younger girls looking up to me.I love this sport on and off the field, and I have no issue sitting on the bench and cheering my team on as I have done this season after an ankle injury. I make myself coachable and invaluable because of my drive and attitude.
Theses skills are also present in my academics and work. I keep my A/B average at all times and my studies always come first. I was a part of the National Honors Society for a year and a half. I also experimented with the Girls Who Code club freshman year. I love trying new things and figuring out how I fit into different situations. I work at Taco Bell and I do my job with efficiency, showing up on time always. I want to travel more than anything, and have studied Spanish for nine years now; which I plan to put to use when I go on a class trip to Spain next summer. I want to study International Business in college and play softball at any level.
Overall I am a very hopeful, hardworking, and driven person and I hope it will grant me some opportunities to take advantage of in any way I can.
