My name is Kirstyn Case and I am a 2021 graduate. I have played softball since I was 7 and been catching since I was 8. Throughout it all, I have never lost the drive and determination to be the best player that I can be. In school, I average a 3.55 GPA and currently like the idea of majoring in early education.
I am constantly working to make myself better. I go to different practices 3 times a week and work on my own at home the other days, this includes hitting at lessons, or doing catching drills in my garage. I work to better myself, hoping to eventually meet my life long goal, to play softball in college. No matter what team I play for, I personally think I bring strong skills that help the team. I believe I am very coachable, have a strong will to work, and I am a team player. I am open to change and then practice to fix what needs to be changed. I also realize that it is a team sport and that I couldn’t play the game without my teammates. I find these characteristics help me on and off the field.
Overall, I find that my personality leads me to better myself on and off the field. I continue to push myself in school and on the field. During school, I swim and have joined many clubs to widen my perspectives. By joining these clubs, I am able to help out my community and learn new skills at the same time. I also have started taking multiple honor and AP classes to push myself even more. I also greatly value my friends and family because without them and their constant support, I could not be the person or athlete that I am today.
