Personal Statement

Hi! I am Makayla Middleton and I am a Senior at Golden High School in Golden, Colorado, and I will graduate in the class of 2020.  I have been playing softball for ten years total and playing competitively for the past six years. It is my goal to continue to play softball at the collegiate level. There are many things that I love about playing softball, but being a part of a team is what I like the best. I enjoy being with my teammates and working with them because it makes me want to get better and work harder so that I can continue to instill the love of the game in them as well.  I believe that my participation in sports has enabled me to become a well-rounded person and stay organized throughout my daily routine.  The discipline that I have learned from sports has taught me how to manage my studies and daily activities.  I make sure that my grades come first which is why I have had a 4.0 GPA for the past 3 years. I work hard every day of my life to become a better person.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
